Affiliation

The Institute was earlier academically governed by Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna, which served as the degree-awarding authority for B.Tech. programs.

From 2023 onwards, the Institute is academically governed by Bihar Engineering University (BEU), Patna, which is now the degree-awarding authority.

The Institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
