Government Engineering College (GEC), Samastipur
was established in 2019 by the Government of Bihar under
the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education (DSTTE).

The campus spans 19 acres near Sarairanjan, Narghoghi Block, Samastipur.
The building was officially handed over on 14 October 2022.

The college was established under β€œSaat Nischay Yojana”
to meet the growing demand for technical education.
